The year is 2021 and 256 days ago the opposition won the presidency from the sitting president. Refusing to cede his seat and the opposition refusing to back down, the country is plunged into a vicious civil war. Our story takes place after peace has been restored and a new president is being sworn into office. It focuses on a young woman struggling through the delivery of her child with her midwife helping her along the way. The film is not only a piece of speculative fiction but also a parable; the Young Woman representing Mother Uganda, her Mid Wife the in-coming president and her child, Uganda's future.
